Harder to Start a Blog or Buy Real Estate?
This is my first blog post. That’s a scary thing to say. It means I’m actually doing it… or about to. It means I’ve taken the first step to sharing my passion about multifamily real estate to anyone out there who cares to listen or who shares the same passion and belief as me: that multifamily investing is a path to financial freedom and generational wealth. Well, so long as you do it right. IT is expensive and can be intimidating, but hopefully I can help by sharing enough information with you so you can feel confident embarking on your path to real estate ownership. At least a little more confident that I feel starting this blog. Why am I timid when it has come to start here? Well, I’m not a “guru” that’s for damn sure, and I haven’t been investing in real estate for 20+ years, and I don’t really even own a lot. I own 3 properties and I’m about to break ground on a new duplex build. My first ever build. It’s terrifying and exciting all at once. But I love real estate. I love breaking down the numbers. I love saving for that down payment. I love the hunt. And the “kill”. I love that there are so many tried and true, new and emerging ways to raise capital to scale your portfolio. I love that I love looking at listings as much as I love reading the news. It’s an obsession I realize. And I love that, with a little hard work, real estate is something that can be available to most people. I know there are some serious exceptions but for now, let’s live in the circle of encouragement, with the idea that anyone can become rich through real estate. So long as you don’t go in blind, learn the basics, and create an end goal it’s all within reach. So let’s see what trouble we can get into, what we can learn, and while I’m sharing with you, maybe you can share some tips and information too so that we can all help each other reach our goals. See you in the next post!
